From a huarache that’ll be your go-to this summer to a pair of handmade moccasins

Need to spice things up with your footwear rotation? Maybe this list will help point you in the right direction. There are so many great shoes dropping these days, we thought we would pull a few of our current favorites to showcase. From a huarache that'll be your go-to for summer to a pair of handmade moccasins that you can wear in and out of the house, these are the footwear our team can't stop talking about.

The huarache feels like the must-have shoe for summer 2022. Slip them on with shorts, swim trunks or anything linen—they'll look good with everything. This pair is handcrafted in Mexico by indigenous artisans using traditional equipment and techniques. The slip-on features an intricate braided design finished with a slip-resistant heel to ensure all-day comfort. The vegetable-tanned leather is hand-cut, dyed and woven making sure the shoe can age with its owner for more summer seasons.

You may not see Common Projects Achilles sneakers all over the web like you used to, however, the company still makes some of the best shoes in the industry. Inspired by the original desert boot, these chukkas feature a luxurious brushed taupe suede. The brand remains true in its minimal approach with a sophisticated, straight-to-the-point boot that includes an authentic crepe rubber sole. The heel pull seemed like a superfluous design detail, but actually comes in handy. I should've known that CP doesn't do unnecessary details.

It's rare when you're able to wear a “sandal” with a suit, but these would definitely work. The Otzi is constructed using a handmade stitch-down technique and is hand-molded to adapt to the wearer's foot shape. Featuring a vegetable tanned leather, Eva wedge sole and brass friction buckle, this sandal has enough sophistication to match a double-breasted suit or a pair of pleated dress pants. Rock these on date night or whenever you get invited as a plus one.

It's a fine line between something being comfortable but also having a utilitarian capability as well. The Easymoc does just that. Both a house slipper and everyday shoe, it's designed for ease and comfort. Handcrafted in Maine, they are stitched from start-to-finish using North American leather. They feature the brand's unique slide-in design for easy access, plus a Vibram sole for indoor or outdoor use. Wear these from the moment you get out of bed to building a fire at your nearest campsite.

Noah and adidas just came out with their second collaboration and honestly, it feels like people are sleeping on it. It's sold out on Noah's site, but adidas still has them in stock. A hundred bucks for a collaboration of this caliber is a steal. Noah was able to pull the adidas Adria model out of the archive and execute the sneaker in a white and brown colorway. A no-frills sneaker, it features textured canvas and 50% Parley ocean plastic—reimagined unwanted plastic, intercepted on remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines—for extra added karma. Not only is the sneaker sustainably made, but will look good in anything from a pair of vintage 501s to relaxed-fitting cargo pants.
